This year, I have three Valentines (Roger, little Rog, and Sabrina), so I wanted to share three easy ways to make heart toast for someone you love this Valentine’s season.
Heart toast is incredibly easy to make, but I experimented with a few techniques. Since my bread slices were on the thick side (I ordered a thinner loaf, but it was left out of our pickup order), these are the three methods that worked best.
Somehow, I completely forgot to butter the toast, whoops! I got so focused on creating heart shapes that I neglected to spread butter while the bread was still hot.
But that’s ok, they were still delicious thanks to my favorite raspberry preserves on top!
Which heart toast will you try first?
ps. This would be so fun to do at a Galentine’s brunch!

Instructions
- Use the heart cookie cutter to create a large heart cutout. Toast the heart bread along with a second piece of bread. Spread Nutella on the second piece of bread, add the heart toast on top, and fill in the heart with raspberry preserves.
- Use a spoon to press a heart shape into a piece of bread. Toast the bread and fill the heart with raspberry preserves.
