Last year I made individual Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls that went viral.
When little Roger Dale saw a picture of them he immediately wanted to make and eat them again.
Of course, I’m always up for cinnamon rolls, but this time I thought it would be fun to make a Giant Easter Bunny Cinnamon Roll!
Which he loved!!
I spent so much time looking for different edible flower candies, and after a long search online (multiple times) I finally decided to make my own so that I could customize them to the colors I wanted, bright pink, yellow, and blue!
This Giant Easter Bunny Cinnamon Roll is meant to be shared, like at an Easter brunch or as a dessert for a spring party.
But since I made this on a random Tuesday, we enjoyed one ear and then shared the rest with some of our family that live nearby.
If you are looking for a fun cinnamon roll Easter treat for just your family, I highly recommend my original Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls.
But if you are looking to make cinnamon rolls for a party, this one is so much fun to make and eat.
And I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Giant Easter Bunny Cinnamon Roll
This Giant Easter Bunny Cinnamon Roll is an easy way to turn store-bought cinnamon rolls into a fun Easter party treat!
Ingredients
- 3 Cans Cinnamon Rolls, with 5 cinnamon rolls in each can (we got ours from Trader Joe’s)
- Baking Sheet
- Parchment Paper
- Icing (you can use the packets that comes with it or mix powdered sugar, pure vanilla extract, and milk to the desired texture)
- Edible Silver Glitter Spray
Edible Flowers
Instructions
- First, preheat your oven to the temperature it says on the packaging of your cinnamon rolls, and then line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open 3 cans of cinnamon rolls, place the icing to the side, and pull out all of the cinnamon rolls.
- Place one cinnamon roll on the lower half of your baking sheet and then unwrap a second cinnamon roll and wrap it around the first cinnamon roll. Repeat this process until there are 7 cinnamon rolls making one big cinnamon roll.
- Then squish 2 cinnamon rolls into bunny ear shapes and place them at the top of the giant cinnamon roll. Then wrap more cinnamon rolls around each ear to make them bigger.
- Be sure the ears are pressed firmly against the giant cinnamon roll head.
- Continue the process of wrapping the ears and head with cinnamon rolls to your desired size.
- Squish the ears one more time to make them extra pointy.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the center is thoroughly baked.
- While the cinnamon rolls are baking, melt your candy melts according to their packaging instructions along with some coconut oil.*(1)
- I didn’t have a pink I liked so I used white candy melts with pink gel food coloring.
- Then spread each color of the melted candy melts into the 3 different flower silicone molds. Bend, tap, and shake the silicone molds to remove the bubbles, and use an icing spreader to remove the excess.
- Chill in your freezer for 5-10 minutes.
- Then carefully remove the candy flowers from the molds and set them to the side.
- Thoroughly clean the molds and then repeat steps 8-11 a second time.
- Once the giant easter bunny cinnamon rolls has baked and cooled, top with icing.
- Then arrange the candy flowers on the head of the bunny like a flower crown.
- Finally, spray edible glitter spray all over the Giant Easter Bunny Cinnamon Roll.
- Cut, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
- The coconut oil helps thin out the candy melts so that it is easier to work with.
