With Valentine’s Day just around the corner I thought I’d share with you how I decorated for the sweet day of love with just a few simple changes.

As I was taking down our Christmas decor last month I decided to leave up the lamb’s ear garland (with the faux winter stems) and add in some pink artificial flowers.

I then decided to let that guide me for the rest of the kitchen decor.

I ordered a new bouquet of pink cherry blossoms to add to my slowly growing collection of pink florals.

Then I added in some pink hand towels, a candle, some cute pink heart mugs, and some Valentine’s candy.

And that’s it!

Oh and I almost forgot, I also added in a small tassel garland and brought back out my Valentine’s Day quote above the stove (free printable below).

Of course, as soon as Roger saw the whole setup he made a request that all of the pink be gone after Valentine’s Day.

I can’t blame him, it is a lot of pinks.

I guess next year I will need to add in more red so it’s a little less girly.

But for now, I’m going to enjoy all of the pink!
