Today is our 9th wedding anniversary!

I love him more each day and I can’t wait to be outnumbered by two Rogers.

Yes, you read that right, we are having a baby boy, and his name will be Roger Dale Miller III. I can’t wait!!

From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I began to hope it was a boy.

Maybe it’s my Asian heritage or the fact that I’ve spent quite a bit of time studying women like Georgiana Cavendish, Marie Antoinette, and of course, the wives of Henry VIII.

But having a boy and passing on the family name, not only the last name but the first, has always been something I hoped would become a reality someday.

And I’m just so incredibly excited to snuggle our baby RoRo this fall!

After visiting the Kennedy Space Museum, we decided to switch our beach theme to a space theme for the nursery, and I’m having so much fun planning.

Next month, we are switching gears from planning to executing my dream for his nursery.

We have the accent wall color picked out (yes, I know accent walls aren’t “in” anymore, but the color we love is too dark to do an entire nursery in), 3-5 art/quote signs, and the dresser (which I plan to paint the same color as the accent wall).

Now we just need to start ordering and painting!

T-Minus 117 days until baby Roger Dale’s due date.

And I simply can’t wait to be his mom!
