A few weeks ago we visited Navarre Beach Florida with my family to make some special memories.
We love the Florida panhandle and have some favorite spots to visit.
When Roger and I lived in Birmingham, Alabama while he was in dental school, we were only about a 4-hour drive away from the beach and visited as often as possible.
With a limited budget back then we often camped at the beach.
Even with soaring Florida temperatures, we were desperate to get away from it all (if our life was a book I would see that as some pretty clear foreshadowing) as we dreamed of a better tomorrow.
I feel so incredibly blessed, 10+ years later to be able to make new memories together with our son, while being able to work with my husband 4 out of the 5 days of the week (he still practices dentistry 1 day a week).
The future we planned for back then has changed drastically over the last several years and I am thankful for the opportunity to grow our small business together.
And I’m so grateful to all of you for your love and support as we continue on this journey together learning, loving, and growing.
Ps. We immediately filled in the heart hole as soon as we finished, in order to help make sure no one else at the beach accidentally fell into it.
