Over the last four Christmas seasons, I have been slowly incorporating more red into my holiday home decor.

The easiest and simplest way to add red to our kitchen was through lots of red ribbon.

I added red bows to the garland, wreaths, candle holders, vases, and utensil crock.

Last Christmas, while in my 3rd trimester, my intuition told me that I should donate all of my red berry Christmas decor before our daughter was born.

I didn’t have a lot, but just enough to make me nervous about a baby getting their hands on them.

She is currently 8 months old and has tried to taste all of my Christmas decor, so I’m so glad I removed it all from our home (minus the two small wreaths way out of her reach on our kitchen wall).

Especially because she learned how to crawl a few weeks ago, right after we put up our Christmas tree.

And with two little ones, I do believe this Christmas season is going to be the best one yet!

For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.
