Decorating our home for Christmas was extra special this year.

We moved into this house in mid-November last year, so Christmas decorating was hectic and rushed.

Plus, I was very pregnant and oh so tired from trying to finish up our build and move in before Thanksgiving.

So this year, we started decorating earlier than usual.

Typically, we start decorating the day after our son’s birthday on October 16, but this year we started on October 9, to make up for starting so late last year.

And I think he liked decorating early; he especially loved decorating the trees, and he kept asking what he could do next to help.

As we were bringing down Christmas decor, putting up the Christmas tree, and singing along to our favorite Christmas songs, little Sabrina decided it was the perfect week to learn to crawl.

She is determined to always be with little Rog and chases him all over the house as fast as she can crawl.

And we have a feeling she might be walking by Christmas.

So far, it’s already been a wonderful Christmas season, and we still have so much more to look forward to!
