This Hot Caramel Apple Spice drink is made with fresh apple flavor, caramel sauce, a homemade cinnamon simple syrup, and topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce.

Cooler weather is here, so I’m setting my sights and tastebuds on yummy fall drinks to pair with our delightful fall weather!
This Hot Caramel Apple Spice takes apple cider to a whole new flavorful level with creamy caramel and a Homemade Cinnamon Simple Syrup.
I shared a recipe for this fall simple syrup last week, and I am so excited to share my favorite way to enjoy it with you all this week!
And since you only need 3 ingredients for this festive fall drink, I have a feeling you will be making it, again and again, this season!
You have two delicious options when making this Hot Caramel Apple Spice, the first is to use fresh-pressed apple cider, and the second is to use apple juice.
While the fresh-pressed apple cider gives you the best flavor, it also isn’t the prettiest, as fresh cider needs to be shaken (or stirred) before drinking.
So if you are making this at home for your family, I recommend fresh-pressed apple cider.
But if you are making this for a small gathering or fall party, you may want to use apple juice to avoid any unpleasant or unsightly settling.
Either way, you are sure to be making a festive fall drink that will be a crowd-pleaser to your family and guests!

Hot Caramel Apple Spice
This Hot Caramel Apple Spice drink is made with fresh apple flavor, caramel sauce, a homemade cinnamon simple syrup, and topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce.
- Cook Time: 10-15 minutes
- Total Time: 10-15 minutes
- Yield: ~8.5 Cups Serves 4-6
Ingredients
- 1/2 Gallon Fresh Pressed Apple Cider (or apple juice) *(1)
- 1/2 Cup Caramel Sauce
- 1/3 Cup Cinnamon Simple Syrup
Toppings
- Whipped Cream
- Caramel Sauce
Instructions
- First, pour the 1/2 gallon apple cider, 1/2 cup caramel sauce, and 1/3 cup cinnamon simple syrup into a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Mix with a whisk until the caramel sauce dissolves into the apple cider.
- Bring to a simmer, then remove the Hot Caramel Apple Spice from the stove.
- Pour into cups and top with whipped cream and caramel sauce.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- Apple cider needs constant stirring to keep the consistency. If you are making this at home for family, I prefer fresh apple cider as it has a great flavor, but if you are doing this for a gathering or party, I recommend the apple juice as it will look prettier (and you can avoid the typical settling of apple cider).
I hope you enjoy your Hot Caramel Apple Spice!
