There were so many different ideas that I wanted to try for this special New Year’s Eve drink.
But I couldn’t narrow it down to just one, so I decided to combine a bunch of ideas into one with these New Year’s Eve Sparkly Gold Drinks!
I used mini orange juice ice balls and sparkling water sweetened with gold rock candy to make this fun New Year’s Eve drink both pretty and family-friendly.
I also used two different types of edible glitter, one shimmery gold for the outside of the cups and one glittery gold for the mini orange juice ice balls.
This is one of those semi-make-ahead drinks that you can start days in advance.
I recommend making the ice 1-2 days ahead of time, decorating the cups the day of, and then assembling the drinks (pouring the sparkling water + adding the glittering ice & rock candy) when ready to serve.
Super easy and so fun for New Year’s Eve!
You could do this for a party or just for you and your family for an extra special New Year’s Eve drink.
