Christmas Whipped Cream Hot Chocolate Toppers

These Christmas Whipped Cream Hot Chocolate Toppers are a quick and easy way to make your hot chocolate extra special this Christmas.

We had so much fun making and eating (drinking?) these Christmas Whipped Cream Hot Chocolate Toppers!

While our daughter was taking a nap, Roger, little Rog, and I tried our hand at drawing Christmas shapes on marshmallows with these bright and colorful edible markers.

I wish I were an artist, but my gingerbread man looked so funny, so I stuck to snowflakes while Roger drew the Christmas trees and snowman faces.

While this is a VERY EASY food craft, I will admit, I ended up needing to make this twice, because the whipped cream melts fast!

So I learned a few tricks along the way to help you when you make them this Christmas season.

The first is to make sure you freeze your cupcake pan so it’s super chilled when you add the whipped cream.

The second tip is to draw on your marshmallows before you remove the cupcake pan from the freezer and pipe in the whipped cream.

And along those lines, be sure your Christmas sprinkles, chocolate chips, and Christmas candy decorations are all opened up and ready to be sprinkled on top before beginning.

I plan to place the extras in a freezer bag for us to enjoy through the coming holiday season!

ps. If you are looking for a homemade version, I have a blog post for Frozen Whipped Cream Hearts to put in hot chocolate with a homemade whipped cream recipe that you will love.
