These Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls are an easy way to turn store-bought cinnamon rolls into a fun family spring & Easter tradition.

These Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls are a crazy easy last-minute recipe to make for a spring party or Easter brunch.

And while these bunny-shaped cinnamon rolls are adorable on their own, I really wanted to add some pastel flowers on top.

So I found edible flowers made from icing to create a little flower crown for each cinnamon roll bunny.

And I’m in love with how they turned out.

They are almost too pretty to eat!

But I love cinnamon rolls, so we had as much fun eating them as we did making them.

These Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls are an easy way to turn store-bought cinnamon rolls into a fun family spring & Easter tradition.

  • Author: Giustina Miller

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon Rolls (we got ours from Trader Joe’s)
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Icing (you can use the packet that comes with it or mix powdered sugar and French vanilla creamer to the desired texture)
  • Edible Flowers

Instructions

  1. First, preheat your oven to the temperature it says on the packaging of your cinnamon rolls, and then line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Open your cinnamon rolls, place the icing to the side, and pull out all of the cinnamon rolls.
  3. Place the cinnamon rolls on a baking sheet with the end near the top (near 1 or 11 pm if it was a clock – see picture examples above).
  4. Unwrap the outside layer to make an oval hoop at the top.
  5. Then move the top/middle of the hoop down towards the rolled cinnamon roll to create the bunny ears.
  6. Squish the base of the bunny ears together and towards the cinnamon roll with your hands so that while it bakes it doesn’t spread apart too far and will keep its bunny ear shape.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 with all of the cinnamon rolls.
  8. Bake the cinnamon rolls according to their packaging instructions.
  9. Once baked, let cool slightly, then add your icing and edible flowers to create a flower headband on the cinnamon roll bunny.
  10. Enjoy!

Notes

  • It’s important to squish the bunny ear cinnamon rolls together before baking so that they keep their shape while baking.
