These Blueberry Waffle Wands are perfect for a brunch treat or a quick on the go snack!

I’m in the early stages of planning a sleepover for my 7 nieces for this spring and I may be just as excited or even more excited than my nieces.

As I was brainstorming fun ways to make it extra memorable for them, one of the first things that came to mind was that there needed to be extra yummy treats for dinner, snacking, and breakfast.

And how fun would these Blueberry Waffle Wands be for a brunch or even a late-night snack?

I created these breakfast wands with Van’s® Organic Blueberry Waffles, that I picked up from Food City, which contain 15g of whole grains and 4 grams of protein per serving.

Plus they are free from dairy/egg/artificial anything/cholesterol and are Non-GMO project verified.

So I know I’ll be treating my nieces to both a delicious and nutritious treat!

I also picked up Van’s® Gluten Free Original Waffles that contain 21-23g of whole grains per serving and are made with whole grain brown rice flour, sweetened with fruit juice, and are free from dairy/egg/artificial anything/cholesterol/corn and are Non-GMO project verified.

So everyone can choose between light crispy waffles that are original or blueberry!

I know these girls love to eat and create as much as I do so I may even have it all cooked, cut, and set up so that they can each make their own waffle wands.

And since all of my nieces love cheese snacks I also grabbed a box of Gluten Free Say Cheese! Crackers (16g of nutrient-dense, gluten-free whole grains) that we can enjoy while watching a princess movie together.

Van’s is a great way to start your day and can even be enjoyed as the perfect snack midday.

They have products that range from dairy-free to egg-free, from corn-free to nut-free, and they even have kosher products too!

Ingredients

  • Van’s® Organic Blueberry Waffles
  • Fresh Blueberries
  • Powdered Sugar, optional
  • Maple Syrup, optional

Instructions

  1. First, cook the Van’s® Organic Blueberry Waffles according to their packaging instructions.
  2. Next, cut each waffle into 4 pieces.
  3. Place 3-5 fresh blueberries on a skewer and top each skewer with a waffle piece.
  4. Serve your Blueberry Waffle Wands dusted in powdered sugar or with a side of maple syrup for dunking.
