Easy Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Hearts to gift and enjoy on Valentine’s Day or any time of the year!
I’ve become a bit obsessed with candy molds recently.
I have a growing collection for different seasons and occasions.
Including two different heart candy molds, one small (click here to see) and one big (click here to see).
I used the small one for these Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Hearts and they turned out absolutely perfect!
And while I made these with Valentine’s Day in mind they would be so cute for an engagement party, bridal shower, or even at a wedding.
If you aren’t a fan of pomegranate seeds you could add any other fruit (or nut) to the center of these chocolate hearts.
Next time I think I might try pistachios or blueberries.
No matter how you fill them, I hope you enjoy your sweet little chocolate-filled hearts!
Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Hearts
Easy Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Hearts to gift and enjoy on Valentine’s Day or any time of the year!
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Total Time: 15 minutes
- Yield: 15 Mini Hearts
Instructions
- First, melt the chocolate according to the packaging instructions.
- Fill the candy mold 1/3 full with melted chocolate.
- Add 3-5 pomegranate seeds.
- Top with chocolate.
- Scrape off excess chocolate and tap the candy mold against the counter to remove air bubbles.
- Let harden in the fridge, then remove the Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Hearts from the candy mold.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Keep stored in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
